PCOS: What is happening?

I was diagnosed with pcos December 2000. I had gone to my doctor on cycle day 54, to ask him for help. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since his vasectomy reversal on April 19, 2000. He has 2 kids, and I have 2 kids. We want a couple of ours. I had fairly regular cycles until I had severe stress in my life a couple of years ago. I believe the stress brought on the pcos. My doctor tested my hormones and glucose. My lh:fsh ratio was out of whack, which indicates pcos. Luckily, I am not insulin resistant.

After my husbands vas reversal, his sperm count started to decline - finally, he had zero sperm. My doctor found that he had low testosterone. My husband has been on a transdermal testosterone patch since December. At the last SA, he had 2 million sperm!!! It sure beats zero.

Since my diagnosis, I have been taking spironolactone 100mg 2x a day to lower my testosterone level.

This is a journal of our double whammy while trying to conceive a baby.

Here is my temperature chart.
